Totally worth it! Perfectly placed for tourists.

I would suggest everyone visiting the area to go to Venus Resort. The place is clean the host, Azeem is responsive and extremely kind. The place has extremely beautiful views of peaks like Rakaposhi, Lady Finger, Ultar Sar, Diran which makes the view stunning as it sits on very top of Duikar Hill. There are various restaurants souvenir shops and general stores from where you can get anything you would want on a 2 to 3 minutes walk.

After reaching Altit, there is a 7 km road which leads to this place the road is completely paved but a little bit of experience of driving or riding in mountains is required as a few times are quite steep.

Furthermore, the place is centrally located in Hunza district from Altit fort is 15 mins away, Atabad Lake is 25 mins and Aliabad, a major city in Hunza where you can get everything you would need is about 20 mins of driving.

If you are planning on exploring Hunza region this is the perfect spot to stay at!

A fantastic place to stay . Once you’ve walked from the road down the steps you find a little piece of heaven . The views are breathtaking . Yes the place is a bit quirky but that part of its charm . If you need anything just ask the owner who speaks English and he will sort it out .Breakfast on the terrace was one of our best memories of our month in Pakistan . Couple of good budget restaurants, within walking distance.
